Don't really have much info on this band .. other than they are another "why didn't they get signed" tragedy!! .. they toured here locally quite a bit and I bought the cassette at one of there shows .. this is transferred from that cassette .. sound is good but not great .. a couple of the songs have a little "tape stretch" sound .. it doesnt really effect the songs though. The whole album is good .. highlights for me are 'Needles & Pins' .. 'My Wish' and 'Bitter Truth' .. the funniest song is 'Corn' .. you'll just have to hear it to understand

Fashion Police - S/T Demo (1991)

The times they were a-changin' in 1992, which surely affected the future of many hair/rock/glam bands that were trying to become or remain a part of the scene. Unfortunately, that scene was fading from existence. Fashion Police are a prime example of a band caught in this phenomenon. Their sound is pure late 80's, and if the album Callin' All The Shots had been released during that time perhaps this Cleveland quartet would have had a better chance at being signed by a major label.
It is evident that Fashion Police were heavily influenced by early Poison. The songs are catchy, fast-paced, and sprinkled with dizzying guitar riffs akin to C.C. DeVille, particularly on "Crazy Stuff", "Days And Nights" and the "Talk Dirty To Me" clone "Baby Loves To Rock". Singer Daniel Montesanto fares well against his more well-known peers, belting out lyrics that run the gamut of typical tongue-in-cheek sex, drugs and rock n' roll topics that include references to riding the rocket and making it to the top. They also show a softer side with the 'boy loves girl' tunes "Alone/Together", "Days And Nights" and "Feels So Good".
Most of us have a hard time admitting that we actually enjoyed listening to this type of candy-coated music back in the day. But there's enough distance between then and now to allow ourselves some guilt-free indulgence with Callin' All The Shots. Give it a few listens and you'll soon be rummaging through your closet for your vintage hair band t-shirts. Whether you try them on for old time's sake or immediately put them up for sale on eBay is up to you.

Christmas in the Stars: Star Wars Christmas Album is a record album produced in 1980 by RSO Records. It features recordings of Star Wars-themed Christmas songs and stories about a droid factory where the robots make toys year-round for "S. Claus".

Much of the album is sung and narrated by British actor Anthony Daniels, reprising his role as C-3PO from Star Wars. Sound designer Ben Burtt also provided sound effects for R2-D2 and Chewbacca.

The album is notable for featuring the first professional recording of Jon Bon Jovi (credited as "John Bongiovi", his birth name), who sang lead vocals on the song "R2-D2 We Wish You A Merry Christmas." His cousin Tony Bongiovi co-produced the album and ran the recording studio at which it was recorded, where Jon was working sweeping floors at the time.

Cincinnati-based 7 Hours Later is the brainchild of former Tainted Angel guitarist & AMF recording artist, Lynn Edward Glezen, and features front man Rusty Wilmot and Paul E. King on drums, marking the first time the trio have played together.

Glezen has put together a great line-up of musicians to bring this album to life. Featuring eleven well composed, melodic rock songs recorded by an excellent group of professionals, “It's About Time” is an album to span the decades and please any fan of rock n' roll.

Stepping in as co-producer (and guest drummer on the song 'Perfect') will be Robert Sweet of Stryper fame, a long time friend of Lynn Edward Glezen. "Robert and I have known each other for years, and we've been keeping an eye out for a project that we could collaborate on", a sentiment echoed by Robert Sweet: "I'm very excited to be working with Lynn at last. The songs he's writing are great - I have a really good feeling about this."

Jamie Rowe ( Guardian , Adrian Gale ) has completed lead vocal tracks on 2 songs & is featured on some background vocals

'It's About Time' is a well mixed compilation of melodic & modern rock. In the tradition of bands like Bon Jovi, Collective Soul & Matchbox Twenty , Seven Hours Later will make you wish you heard their album, “It's About Time”, seven hours earlier...

Another Ohio based band that I don't really have a lot of info on. They played in and around the Cincinnati area and had a good following.

If I had to compare them to someone, I would say they are in the vein of Electric Angels (but in my opinion, they were better than them)or L.A. Guns

"Thank you i am in current production of a rattlebone dvd/cd re release thing. I am very sad at the loss of derin or jamie foxx i am planning a trip up to peebles ohio to film his drumset grave for the special features of the dvd along with footage of his dad if possible his dad was our manager jamie was a road manager and i wrote 90% of the tape which is soon to be dvd remastered.
